Our most unique trip yet! Come explore both Jordanian and Palestinian culture with us. Around two thirds of people in Jordan are Palestinian refugees from the ongoing genocide and displacement of the Palestinians. This trip will take you through not only Jordanian culture and cuisine but on this trip we are collaborating with Palestinian locals to bring you an immersive experience into Palestinian culture, cuisine, and history firsthand.
If I'm not vegan, can I still come?
Yes, absolutely! We actually have a lot of non vegans on my trips and we love having them! Whether you're here because you're vegan, vegetarian, have a dairy allergy, don't eat certain types of meat for religious reasons, or just think this sounds like a cool trip, you are welcome here!
However, we do want to note that all the food served on the trip is vegan so if vegan food does not sound appealing to you, we might recommend a different trip.
What's the age range of people on the trip?
We do require everyone on the trip to be 18+. And truly EVERYONE is welcome. We would say the average age is around 25-35 however, we've had people of all ages on the trip (40-60+) and this is a welcoming environment for everyone.
What are the accommodations like?
We work with locally owned, upscale boutique hotels. Typically 3-5 stars. Prices are based on double occupancy, but you have the option to upgrade to a single room if you prefer.
Note, we always pair people of the same gender together for the rooms. You will never be roomed with someone of a different gender. To pair, we basically stalk your socials and match people together based on vibes. Which we're quite good at if we do say so ourselves.
If you'd like to know the exact hotels, please shoot us an email at hello@veganaftravel.com. We’re happy to share, it's just due to the size and reach of our platforms and because the dates are public, we don't post the hotels publicly for safety reasons.
Do most people come alone or with a friend/partner?
Whether you are alone or with a friend or partner, you are absolutely welcome! We would say around 80% of people come solo and 20% come with a friend or partner!
How can I bring my friend/partner?
If you're signing up together, just choose "2" at checkout". Then, when checking out, you'll fill out the intake form and just make a note that you're coming together and would like to room together! If you are traveling as a couple, you do not need to upgrade to a single room. We will automatically put you in one!
For flights, should I arrive at a specific time?
Yes, ideally! When you check out, you'll get an email with all the details on ideal flight times.
If you have any additional questions, please shoot us an email at hello@veganaftravel.com.

Make sure you have your walking shoes because we’re going on a food tour of Amman to try all the unique local foods with a background and description of each one. We’ll return to the hotel on a full stomach and have some rest and relaxation time before meeting up with Underground Amman.
Our guide from Underground Amman will take us on a tour of Palestinian street art throughout Amman. We’ll learn about the history of the Palestinian struggle, expression through art, and press heroes of Palestine.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch (throughout food tour)
After breakfast, we’ll head to As-Salt to visit a local Palestinian family’s olive farm. We’ll tour the groves, learn about the olive oil-making process, and enjoy a home-cooked lunch on the farm. As a special gift, each traveler will receive a bottle of their incredible, fresh-pressed olive oil—trust us, it’ll be the best you’ve ever tasted.
On the way back, we’ll stop at an olive oil processing center for a behind-the-scenes look at how this liquid gold is made.
Once back in Amman, we’ll have time to rest before wrapping up the day with a group dinner at a local restaurant.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Today is all about Palestinian art and what better way to share it with you than from the home of the artist herself?
Today we’ll be visiting Naqsh Collective, a collective founded by two sisters that has unique pieces drawing inspiration from all over Palestine. We’ll tour her home and then she’ll take us to her art studio to share the different pieces with us, the inspiration behind them, and the efforts to preserve lost and erased Palestinian art.
Then, we’ll head back to the hotel for a night off resting for a big day tomorrow.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch
Known for its otherworldly landscape and prehistoric ruins, the Wadi Rum desert is unmissable in Jordan.
We’ll kick things off with a Jeep tour through the desert, cruising past insane rock formations and endless red sand. Then, we’ll settle in for the night at one of Wadi Rum’s famous bubble hotels, where you’ll fall asleep under a sky so full of stars, it doesn’t even look real. Absolute magic.
Meals included: breakfast, dinner
Petra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and an UNESCO world heritage site, inhabited as early as 7000 BC.
After breakfast at our bubble hotel in Wadi Rum, we’ll head to Petra for a guided tour of the ancient city and then head to our luxury accommodations at the Dead Sea.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch
You’ll wake up in stunning, 5 star accommodations at the Dead Sea and have the day to yourself to relax and enjoy the healing properties of the Dead Sea. Float in the magic waters, immerse yourself in a mud bath, or just lounge by the pool and take in the week.
In the evening, we’ll meet for a farewell dinner for a final toast and Jordanian meal before parting ways.
Meals included: breakfast, dinner
*note: Dead Sea Hotel is not locally owned. We prioritize supporting all locally owned businesses on our trips. However, at the Dead Sea, there are no locally owned options.
After breakfast, we’ll travel as a group back to the Amman airport.
If you'd like to extend your stay, we would be thrilled to provide you with recommendations!
